This cute scene of butterflies drinking tears from turtle and alligator eyes will simply make your day

The mother nature never stops amazing us with its wonders.

These amazing shots were done by a wildlife photographer Julia Butterflies.

We are sure they made your day! What you can see on these pictures is something worth admiring.

The photos show us Julia Butterflies who are drinking the tears of turtles and alligators.

It’s a very unusual and interesting phenomenon.

What’s the most interesting is that these cute butterflies do not comfort reptiles but instead get fed on them.

This is called lachryphagy which means ” tear-feeding” and that’s truly amazing to witness.

In that way butterflies get the required nutrients.

According to the report of the National Geographic the butterflies eat the tears because they have a need of a daily sodium and other minerals.

They need these nutrients for egg production and good metabolism.

However, the mutual benefits aren’t yet fully discovered but we simply do not want to interfere them !

It’s always interesting to observe nature and its representatives.

All of them are unique and have their own way of surviving !
