Our unique story is about the North Island Wildlife Recovery Center that is located in Vancouver Island.
This special guest has received a name ” sacred white raven” that I think characterizes the bird who was found helpless.
The sweet bird is found on the Oceanside by a kind-hearted man.
Unfortunately, the sweet animals couldn’t fly and were too slim.
Derek is the kind-hearted man who took the responsibility to take care of the white raven.
He tells that the bird isn’t an albino just because it has a little amount of melanin.
It’s important to note that the little amount of melanin can cause lots of health issues.
Very often those animals who have such kind of problem don’t live long in the wildlife !
What’s the most interesting is that these type of mutations are very common especially in the area of Vancouver Island.
These birds have weak immune system and now the vets are doing their best to recover the injured raven!
They are feeding the animal with food as it didn’t eat on its own. The bird gets several antibiotics and vitamins to maintain its health!
At the moment the sweet bird is slowly improving its health!
The raven is yet under the control of the vets!
