The hero of our story, Andrea Hijar is 76 years old. Her husband is much older than her. They both have always been dog lovers and keepers.
However, after the last dog they didn’t know whether to have one or not.
What’s the most interesting is that the shelter they applied to rejected them saying that she was too old and would be able to properly take care of the young dog.
The granddaughter says ” It’s so sad to see their disappointed faces when they have got rejected by the shelter.”
However, Andrea did her best to continue searching for the pet.
She soon adopted a sweet puppy. She was scrolling down her feed when she saw a post with a picture of a dog looking for a caring home.
The owner knew how much the old couple wants to have a pet and immediately agreed to give it to them.
The old couple decided to name the puppy Princess and she went to a completely new loving home!
The woman was so excited and happy to finally have a dog!
There were lots of people that thought Andrea’s grandparents would not be able to take care for the puppy, it seems Princess would never be able to find a much more loving family!
