Have you ever heard about the tree-kangaroo who was found in Indonesia, and Australia?
However, our story is about the “tree-kangaroo”. Unlike other kangaroos they live on the trees.
They are just like marsupials, apart from their limb size.
These animals are known to have stronger forelimbs and shorter legs.
Due to that it’s easier for them to climb the trees.
There are 13 different species of these kangaroos, and they are extremely rare.
For example one species, the Wondiwoi tree kangaroo is on the edge of extinction.
Only 50 animals left on earth and there are lots of different reasons that make these species disappear.
Hunters are the main threats and the massive deforestation caused by humans led to the loss of these rare species.
Tree-kangaroos are the most wonderful and rare creatures on the land.
They mainly eat leaves, fruits, grains, flowers, or eggs.
What’s the most interesting is that these animals mostly live alone.
They don’t live with their families and are only strongly connected with their mothers and the babies.
The female tree-kangaroo takes care of her own babies alone.
It’s important to say that even though they like being alone, it doesn’t mean they don’t know how to show love.
They carry their children for 13 months until they are able to live outside.
